The Power
Play Post Show embarks on its second season and
is becoming the American Hockey League's only true
Internet-based talk show dedicated to promoting the AHL,
discussing the AHL, and giving the media a show to
further discuss the sport they are covering while
allowing the fans to equally gather info on their
favorite team and its opponents.
The
PPPS is hosted by Bob
Howard and Jason Wilcox and is located
out of Endicott, New York just minutes from Binghamton
and the B-Senators. Bob has been hosting Internet-based
talk shows since 1999 and has interviewed many athletes
over that time. Jason joined Bob in the first season of
the PPPS, providing statistical insight on the game of
hockey and brings over 20 years of knowledge to the
show. Bob has been watching hockey since 1980 and brings
his passion of sports talk to the Internet in the hopes
of promoting the American Hockey League in a way that
has never been done in the past.
Gradio's Corner with Grady Whittenburg is
one of the special features of the PPPS.
As Grady starts his second season with the PPPS
and will start his fourth year as the voice of the Binghamton
Senators. Grady will help the show look at the East
division this season and will bring insight and provide
information on the B-Sens.
The PPPS is also very happy to announce a new segment to
the show entitled "The Wild Wild West Report"
w/Dave Wolf, a segment dedicated to the west conference
in the AHL. Bob will talk with Dave each week and Dave
will provide news, information, and insight on the
happenings into the west conference.
The show is broadcast in four formats for your listening
convenience that includes streaming real audio,
streaming MP3, a download version for your RealOne
player and a MP3 download version for use with WinAMP or
with ITunes.
PPPShow.net
is available to the fans to inform them on any
announcements pertaining to the PPPS, will have archived
shows, past player interviews, and will guide fans
through the AHL stats and info. The PPPS staff wants the
fans to be able to communicate with them and PPPShow.net
will be that connection.
